First of all, Happy New Year! If you didn't have the greatest 2017 embrace 2018 and if you had an awesome year, check the things you did right and keep on working :)

Exercise, stop smoking, eat more veggies, find a real passion, spend more time with the family, have some more alone time, see your friends...these are just a few samples of new year resolutions.

I wouldn't be the person I am today if it wasn't for all the people who spent the time to show me how things work in the restaurant industry. I truly believe that sharing is caring and this blog is my way of giving back and only one of my many new year resolutions.

Restaurants owners, chefs and managers are not different from other humans and they also have new year resolutions for themselves and their restaurants; increase sales, reduce the turnover of staff, apprenticeship programmes, improve the menu engineering, be better at cost control, etc.

So I will give you tips that you can use or not, your choice and you can give me feedback or ask about any topics you'd like some advice on.
